Understanding consumer purchasing decisions in-store and online


Challenge

Our client, a major consumer advocacy group, was developing a new digital program which consisted of a special seal on recommended products. Our team partnered with them to uncover consumer expectations, ideate the ideal experience, and learn what kind of messaging would resonate most with customers. 

Approach

3 two-hour co-creation workshops were held at Globant NYC’s in-house labs. In these participatory sessions, customers were invited to join in designing the optimal experience. Through this hands-on approach, we uncovered underlying mental models that drive customer needs and behaviors and ideated potential solutions.


Outcomes

Following this research, the team was able to provide a clear understanding of consumer expectations for the new experience, and validate preliminary concepts for the program. This led to the definition of several key steps for the program roadmap, helping define the direction for the program’s development.
